My big run around on dieting:
I started at 206.6, got down to about 193 and slacked off for a few weeks (partly holiday travel, partly dental surgery, partly lazy and sick of dieting)
Went back up to 199.6 and got back on the wagon.
Been doing much better and eating LOTS of fruit and at least one large green-salad per day. That has resulted in me using less of my flex points every week.
I am now down to 194.4.
My long term goal is still in the 160-170 range.
My short term goal is 185 by Labor Day. 9.4 lbs in 7.5 weeks. Reasonable. Possible.
